The 6th Armenia-Artsakh International Medical Congress will be held from July 6 to 8, 2023
From July 6 to 8, 2023, the 6th International Medical Congress of Armenia will be held in Armenia and Artsakh. The Honorary President of the Congress, which unites the healthcare and medical communities of Armenia, the Diaspora and Artsakh, is the scientific director of the “Arabkir” Medical Complex, Professor Ara Babloyan. The Co-Presidents of the Congress will be Vigen Khachatryan, Gevorg Yaghjyan and Hambardzum Simonyan.
The preparatory work of the Congress has already commenced. At the recent founding meeting of the Organizing Committee, the plan of upcoming events, the schedule, as well as the circle of persons responsible for the implementation of organizational work have been discussed and approved.
The 6th International Medical Congress of Armenia will be held under the slogan «Together we can do more».
“Given the current realities, as well as a number of challenges facing Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora, our professional unity under this motto is more than important and necessary,” the Honorary President of the Congress, Professor Ara Babloyan said at the meeting of the organizing committee.
According to Gevorg Yaghjyan, Co-President representing the diaspora wing, the Congress will bring together recognized healthcare professionals, experienced doctors and medical professionals under one roof, allowing them to communicate and assimilate industry achievements of international best practices.
According to the Co-President of the congress Hambardzum Simonyan, representing Armenia, special attention within the congress will be paid to the complex and urgent problems facing the health care of Armenia and Artsakh.
According to Vigen Khachatryan, Co-President representing the Artsakh wing of the congress, one of the important missions of the congress is not only the presentation of innovative achievements in the field of healthcare, but also the development of mechanisms that will localize and ensure the practical application of these achievements.
At the end of the first meeting of the Organizing Committee, as a symbol of the start of the 6th International Medical Congress of Armenia, a fir tree was planted in the garden of the Republican Scientific Medical Library of the National Institute of Health (NIH) MoH RA.
